Today, we are delighted to announce a significant step forward in our sustainability journey: the creation of a dedicated Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Lead role. This move reinforces our commitment to responsible business practices and ensures we continue to meet the evolving expectations of our customers and partners.
Effective from 1st April 2025, Thomas Tromans will step into this newly established position, spearheading our ESG initiatives and driving meaningful change across our supply chain. Few importer-distributor companies have a dedicated ESG Lead, and we are proud to be among the pioneers in recognising the importance of this role. Sustainability and accountability are no longer optional—they are imperative—and we are taking decisive action to embed them at the heart of our operations.
Tom has long exhibited a deep and genuine passion for ESG matters. Over the past year, he has taken the lead on several key projects, including a collaboration with Climate Partners to meticulously map our carbon footprint. His ability to navigate complex sustainability challenges and align our business with the latest environmental and ethical standards has been instrumental in shaping our strategy. Given the increasing demand for carbon footprint transparency and sustainability initiatives from our customers, Tom’s expertise will ensure we not only meet but exceed these expectations.
In his new role, Tom will work closely with our suppliers, helping them integrate ESG principles into their operations while aligning with our customers’ stringent requirements. This proactive approach positions us at the forefront of industry best practice, reinforcing our reputation as a responsible and forward-thinking business.
