We are proud to announce the installation of new solar panels at our office, a major step forward in our on-going sustainability journey. The investment will allow us to generate clean, renewable energy on-site, reducing our reliance on traditional power sources while cutting both our carbon footprint and energy costs. By turning to solar, we are actively aligning our operations with our environmental goals and creating long-term benefits for the business, our people, and our community. In addition to our solar panels, we now have battery storage allowing us to be further off-grid and provide resilience to our business should anything affect the grid etc.
This project is just one of several initiatives we are pursuing to build a more sustainable future. The panels serve as a visible reminder of our commitment to making responsible choices and reducing our environmental impact. From energy efficiency to waste reduction, we are continuing to explore ways to operate more responsibly and support positive change across our industry. Installing solar panels is not only an important milestone today, but also a foundation for the greener business we want to be tomorrow.
This installation was made possible by securing a business energy advice service (BEAS) grant to cover 50% of costs and working with Econergy, a local solar consultant who advised at every stage and fully installed our system.
